Planning a corporate offsite aimed at fostering real connection, sparking company pride, and giving your team something to talk about long after they've returned to the office? If you’re in charge of coordinating the corporate offsites, it’s best to begin at the beginning. This means landing on the right neighborhood for your group and your goals.
More and more corporate groups are discovering East Nashville: a neighborhood that pairs the creative, free-spirited energy of a world-class music city with a genuinely walkable, hip, and unique environment unlike anything you'll find in a downtown conference room or generic hotel meeting room.
At the center of it all is Noa Nashville, an exclusive urban resort tucked within the heart of the Historic Edgefield area, just minutes from the popular Five Points neighborhood. With 16 resort-style boutique homes available for short-term rental, Noa offers corporate groups something rare in traveling for business: the ability to live in your host neighborhood in a beautifully appointed home. You can gather with your team in the property’s courtyard and chat over a cup of coffee and walk together to most venues, cafés, restaurants, and more. Your team will enjoy a refined getaway experience at a property with a swimming pool, sauna, cold plunge, courtyard fire pit, and workout facilities. And within each home, you and your colleagues will be treated to elegantly appointed spaces featuring a full chef’s kitchen, living and dining areas, spacious bedrooms, and luxurious bathrooms. Many units feature rooftop patios with panoramic views of the surrounding area.
As you plan your accommodations and who’ll stay where, we’ll help with your agenda.
To follow is a curated three-day itinerary for small corporate groups (we're thinking 4–16 people) who want the best of both worlds: productive and professional work sessions and genuinely memorable experiences. We've mapped every recommendation to Noa's front door, with distances, pricing, insider tips, and links.
Mix, match, and make it your own!
Day 1: Connect With Your Team
Morning — Elegy Coffee at 2909A Gallatin Pike (10-minute drive from Noa, $)
The best corporate offsites feature plenty of caffeine. Start the day with a focused coffee session at the modern and minimalist Elegy Coffee. The space is quiet enough for discussions and bright enough to feel energizing. Ideal for groups of four to eight, we recommend you arrive early to secure side-by-side tables.
Noon — Five Points Pizza at 1012 Woodland Street, (5-minute walk from Noa, $$)
For a fun afternoon corporate chat ‘n’ chew, we recommend a local favorite, Five Points Pizza, where you can share ideas and slices. Call ahead to avoid wait times and prepare yourselves for a real East Nashville treat. The casual setup here makes it easy to decompress and even talk shop, but without the formalities that come with a meeting room.
Late Afternoon — The Paddywax Candle Bar in The Gulch, 408 11th Ave. S (15-minute drive from Noa, $$)
For something new in team building that’s guaranteed to keep everyone’s creative juices flowing, book a DIY custom candle-making session for your group at Paddywax Candle Bar in the popular Gulch neighborhood. Sessions are 45-minutes long, and individuals can each pick their favorite vessel and fragrance blend. Insider tip: this venue is central to all the best dining, shopping, and entertainment in Music City, so members of your group can take note and return during downtime for some extra sightseeing.
Evening — Lockeland Table at 1520 Woodland St. (15-minute walk from Noa, $$$)
A James Beard-nominated community kitchen and bar, Lockeland Table is one of East Nashville’s finest, and an ideal setting for a group dinner. They specialize in Southern-accented American food and are known for their outstanding cocktails. Vegan options are available, and reservations are a must (ask for the community table). Menu items are locally sourced, made from scratch, and include shareable options and comforting favorites. After dinner, your group can wander through the Five Points neighborhood before you make your way back to Noa to unwind by the fire or inside.
Day 2: Getting to Know the Neighborhood
Early Morning — Shelby Bottoms Greenway at 1900 Davidson St. (10-minute drive from Noa, FREE)
A morning walk through the Greenway alongside the Cumberland River is a fantastic way to prepare for the day. Lush and beautiful (especially in the spring and fall), Shelby Bottoms Greenway is a world away from the rigors of corporate life and will give everyone a chance to clear their mind and enjoy Mother Nature’s finest before diving into discussions.
Mid-Morning — Barista Parlor at 519 Gallatin Ave B (3 minutes from Noa, $$)
Reconvene over coffee at Barista Parlor in East Nashville, a great choice when you want your group to enjoy a more sophisticated experience. This café is serious about its coffee roasts but also very open and friendly. Use this moment to anchor a mid-morning catch-up over a hearty breakfast because the afternoon will be one for the books.
Afternoon — Great Room Escape at 1066 Madison Square (20-minute drive from Noa, $$$)
For a high-energy afternoon team-building session, The Great Room Escape offers an immersive, fast-paced challenge that brings your group together under pressure but in the best possible way. Teams of up to 12 players are locked in a themed room and given one hour to solve riddles, uncover hidden clues, and work collaboratively to escape before time runs out. It’s a perfect mix of problem-solving, communication, and quick thinking, making it ideal for corporate offsites looking to strengthen team dynamics. As the clock ticks down, the experience naturally encourages leadership and creativity and offers a shared sense of accomplishment.
Evening — The Treehouse at 1011 Clearview Ave. (2-minute walk from Noa, $$$)
For a refined dinner gathering, The Treehouse offers a terrific corporate event setting in a warm, residential-style space. Housed in a former family home, the atmosphere naturally encourages conversation and connection. The venue’s farm-to-table approach highlights seasonal ingredients sourced from local producers, giving each visit a distinctly “of-the-moment” dining experience. Menus evolve throughout the year, showcasing the best of Tennessee’s harvest for a thoughtful, elevated way to bring your team together.
Post-Dinner Entertainment — The Basement East at 917 Woodland St. (8-minute walk from The Treehouse and from Noa ($$—$$$ depending on the show)
After dinner, walk to “The Beast” for some live Music City music. The talent lineup spans country, rock, Americana, and indie acts, so it’s best to check the schedule while booking your accommodations and putting the finishing touches on your itinerary. Still, you can’t go wrong. The Beast has a fantastic sound system and shows do sell out here. It’s also standing room only, so we recommend your group arrive early to get a spot near the stage.
Day 3: Fun, Games, and a Whole Lot More
Morning — Bongo Java East at 107 S 11th St. (5-minute walk from Noa, $)
For a fun and relaxed team breakfast and coffee, Bongo Java East blends a classic coffeehouse with Nashville’s original board game café. Alongside organic coffee and a full breakfast-to-lunch menu, the space carries more than 700 board games that group members can enjoy at no extra cost. It’s a great way to encourage team interaction before gearing up for the day.
Afternoon — Turkey and the Wolf Icehouse at 800 Meridian St. (10-minute drive from Noa, $$)
Another cool restaurant and an extension of the celebrated New Orleans original (named best new restaurant in the South by various publications and scoring 9/10 by The Infatuation), Turkey and the Wolf Icehouse is kitschy, fun, and completely uncompromising on flavor. We recommend their piled-high sandwiches or the Sweet Potato Waffle Fry Salad (yes, you read that correctly).
Late Afternoon — Happy Hour at Noa (Fridays)!
If you stay at Noa and your offsite includes a Friday afternoon/evening, gather around the fire pit and enjoy our happy hour, Fridays from 4:00-6:00 PM. Get in touch with our staff to put together a cocktail party-style menu and treat your group to some fun appies and noshes sourced from local farms and businesses, and wine and beer from the region as well (there are lots of great breweries and taprooms in the area to choose from).
Evening — Urban Cowboy Public House at 1603 Woodland St. (15-minute walk from Noa, $$)
Urban Cowboy Public House offers a lively, design-forward setting built around great cocktails, good food, and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere strikes a balance between laid-back and super country style, making it ideal for casual team hangs or informal networking after a full day. Your group can enjoy award-winning pizza from Roberta’s alongside a well-crafted drink menu, all in a space that’s great for conversation and connection. As your group’s planner, you can choose from the restaurant’s first-come, first-served format or book the private event option. Either way, you’ll enjoy great tunes, relaxed energy, and terrific fare.
